Job Description: G3 Innovative Solutions is seeking a Senior ECS Cybersecurity Analyst to assess and support technical security compliance for a federal law-enforcement enterprise. The analyst will investigate encryption, vulnerability management, multifactor authentication, centralized logging, auditing, and related control implementation to identify risk and verify conformance with federal requirements.
This is a hands-on technical analysis role working with security assessment teams, cybersecurity leaders, and system stakeholders on evidence-based compliance, incident support, and remediation.
Duties and responsibilities:
Compensation: $110,000 - $125,000 annually depending on experience and candidate qualifications

This is a hands-on technical analysis role working with security assessment teams, cybersecurity leaders, and system stakeholders on evidence-based compliance, incident support, and remediation.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Analyze system configurations, security controls, and technical evidence to identify noncompliant systems and potential vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with Red, Blue, and Purple teams, security leadership, and system stakeholders to evaluate findings and recommend remediation.
- Review encryption, multifactor authentication, vulnerability management, centralized logging, auditing, and related technical controls.
- Interpret federal security guidance and translate technical requirements into practical recommendations and clear stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate security audits and data calls, validate responses, and preserve accurate records of analyses, evidence, and decisions.
- Analyze event logs and threat intelligence to identify anomalous behavior, potential exfiltration, and emerging risks.
- Assist incident response activities including detection, isolation, investigation, remediation, and after-action reviews.
- Track and evaluate vulnerability notifications from agencies and vendors, and support remediation within required reporting timelines.
- Develop detailed technical summaries, compliance findings, and recommendations for government decision-makers.
- Produce or review forensically sound storage-media images when required and authorized. Identify, analyze, and document cybersecurity requirements during system design and participate in architecture and technical reviews.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen and currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance.
- A minimum of eight years of relevant cybersecurity experience; customer-accepted industry certifications may substitute for a portion of the experience.
- Detailed familiarity with federal cybersecurity standards and the technologies used to implement enterprise security controls.
- Experience performing technical compliance assessments, vulnerability analysis, log review, and remediation tracking.
- Ability to maintain comprehensive, defensible records of evidence, activities, communications, and findings.
- Strong investigative, analytical, technical writing, and stakeholder communication skills.
Desired:
- Certifications such as CompTIA CySA+, CASP+/SecurityX, PenTest+, CEH, ECIH, GIAC GPEN, or GCIH.
- Experience with threat intelligence, incident handling, digital forensics, and security operations.
- Experience working with government assessment teams and formal federal reporting requirements.
