Job Description: G3 Innovative Solutions is seeking a Senior ECS IT Subject Matter Expert to serve as a Security Solutions Architect supporting a federal law-enforcement customer. The role will interpret cybersecurity laws, policies, directives, standards, and executive requirements and translate them into practical technology and security solutions.
The selected candidate must connect high-level policy direction with implementable technical approaches and communicate effectively with executives, program leaders, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Duties and responsibilities:
Compensation: $130,000 - $145,000 annually depending on experience and candidate qualifications

Duties and responsibilities:
- Interpret federal cybersecurity laws, policies, directives, executive orders, standards, and related agency requirements.
- Translate nontechnical security direction into clear technical requirements, implementation considerations, and solution options.
- Explain complex technical security concepts to nontechnical decision-makers and clarify policy implications for engineering teams.
- Analyze challenging security architecture and compliance problems and identify feasible, risk-informed approaches.
- Advise OCIO teams and organizational stakeholders on the security implications of proposed technical solutions.
- Develop written summaries, architectural recommendations, and briefing materials that explain requirements and alternatives.
- Coordinate with technical, policy, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to align solutions with mission needs.
- Support the interpretation of new or changing requirements and evaluate their impact on enterprise systems and processes.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen and currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance.
- Senior-level experience in IT security architecture, cybersecurity policy implementation, or technical advisory work.
- Ability to interpret federal cybersecurity requirements and translate them between technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions to complex cybersecurity challenges.
- Strong oral presentation, written communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate with senior leaders, system owners, and engineering teams.
Desired:
- Experience advising a federal OCIO or supporting mission-focused government IT programs.
- Familiarity with federal risk management, enterprise security architecture, and cybersecurity standards.
- Experience presenting security architecture recommendations to mixed technical and executive audiences.
