Job Description: G3 Innovative Solutions is currently seeking a Junior Dev Ops Engineer to support cloud-based environments and DevSecOps infrastructure. This role involves supporting the design, deployment, configuration, and ongoing operations of modern, automated IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience with Linux systems, cloud service providers, and scripting languages, and a strong desire to grow their technical skill set in a DevOps and cloud engineering
environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assists in the design, deployment, and testing of DevSecOps infrastructure tools.
- Performs Operations and Maintenance (O&M) duties for a suite of cloud-based and DevOps tools.
- Supports patching, upgrades, and certification processes for system components, support libraries, and application dependencies.
- Deploys and configure services using Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) providers.
- Configures and manage Linux-based servers to support dynamic websites and application environments.
- Troubleshoots and debug cluster-based computing architectures and container orchestration systems.
- Uses scripting or basic programming (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate tasks and solve operational problems.
- Installs, configures, and maintains open-source monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
- Addresses interoperability issues between various tools, systems, and platforms in the DevOps toolchain.ery models (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, DaaS) that meet business, security, and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or IT related discipline strongly preferred or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- A minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a technical support, system administration, or DevOps related role.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and IaaS concepts.
- Basic proficiency in Linux system administration and command-line operations.
- Basic experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of basic networking and system monitoring concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.]
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with open-source monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Zabbix, Prometheus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. .

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 annually depending on experience and candidate qualifications
