Job Description: G3 is currently seeking a  Lead Technical Application Developer. The Developer will develop software applications, including the design, coding, and standards. This role will be supporting a Federal customer.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Analyze and study complex system requirements to design and develop software tools, support software reuse and domain analysis, and manage the implementation of software
  • Coordinate with the Government and other contractors to stand-up and manage hosting environments, appropriately and securely establish and maintain connections between the systems
  • Perform system upgrades and patches as directed by the Government
  • Manage software development and support using formal specifications, data flows
  • Reviews existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, improving current techniques, and troubleshooting as needed
  • Performs and/or leads the technical ‘heavy-lifting’ of the day-to-day work described herein
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience with large Enterprise IT and/or Federal Agency environment
  • Five (5) years of architecting, designing, and implementing integrated web systems
  • Five (5) years developing response web applications in modern hosting environment and proficient with web development
  • Drupal 7 / Ilias LMS required
  • A four (4) year degree in the business management related field from an accredited institution
  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience in the management methodology
  • At least five (5) years designing and architecting solutions in a IaaS/PaaS/SaaS
  • At least five (5) years developing responsive web applications in modern hosting environments that support modern browsers
  • Five (5) years technical proficiency with web development (languages must include HTML, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, etc.)
  • Five (5) years technical proficiency with SQL (database queries, batch jobs, stored procedures, etc.) and SQL-based databases
  • Five (5) years technical proficiency interface design and development
  • Version control (git/GitLab)
  • Five (5) years technical proficiency with Drupal (including Drupal 7) and developing custom Drupal modules/plugins
  • Five (5) years technical proficiency with Ilias LMS
  • Experience with EZProxy preferred
  • Ensuring W3C standards
  • Ensuring STIG Compliance
  • All aspects of configuration management
  • Linux System Administration
  • Apache Web Server Administration
  • Requirements Gathering and Development
  • Troubleshooting (logs/testing/etc.)
  • CAC authentication on web applications
  • PKI Certificate management and implementation on websites
  • AWS/GovCloud management (from stand-up to deployment)
  • Move files using S3 buckets via AWS Console
  • Experience Apache Solar preferred
  • Troubleshooting (logs/testing/etc.) including the ability to find and read log files from a variety of systems (OS / firewall / application / etc.)
  • Certified Scrum Master or equivalent (if Agile is used)
